My still life drawing tied together everything that we have focused on so far. I started with a good composition, placing my objects in a somewhat triangular formation. Then I looked at line quality and tried to bring out all four types of lines to make my drawing seem more realistic and three dimensional. Lastly, I looked at da Vinci's six parts of light. I think that I did a pretty god job of this, as you can clearly see the highlights and the shadows. I think the part that I struggled with the most is the value scale. I did not really touch on the darks as much as I could have, and many of my values lay in the middle of the scale. The sunglasses have the greatest range in value, and I think if I were to do this drawing again, I would have added more darks in other places as well. Other than that, I am not too upset with how this drawing turned out.
