For my gray paper drawing, I focused on my value scale. This drawing was very different as the middle values were already taken care of, because the paper was gray, and I had to push into the lighter values with a white charcoal pencil and the dark values with a black charcoal pencil. I also used a reference photo, and I drew a grid so that I could more accurately transfer the image from the photo to my paper. This is one of my favorite drawings that I have done, and I had a lot of fun doing it. I am pretty happy with the way that it turned out, and I am glad that I ended the quarter this way!
