For my self portrait, I focused mainly on proportions. I made sure that all of my features are relative to one another so that none of them looked too big or too small. To do this I used the width of my eye as reference and based everything else on how many "eyes wide"they were. I think that for the most part I did pretty well, except for maybe my mouth. My mouth always seems to be too wide. After I set my composition and laid everything out I worked on shading and making sure that things that went back in space were darker than the things that were closer. I finished my drawing with my hair and my sweatshirt. I think that I could have spent a little bit more time on my hair, but I think that my sweatshirt turned out okay. Overall I am pretty okay with how it turned out, but the resemblance is not really there.
